Channa Goldman Psychotherapist/Graduate Intern (MHC-I)

Channa seeks to cultivate a space where clients can explore each unique aspect of themselves and honor the expansiveness and complexity encompassed within each individual.

Channa earned her B.A. in Creative Writing from Purchase College, with a minor in Jewish Studies, and is currently completing her Master’s in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University. Channa’s work draws from her experience as an adolescent cancer survivor and a lifetime of navigating the impact of chronic illness on relationships, sexuality, and identity. She is passionate about supporting clients navigating illness and providing a radically non-judgmental and collaborative space to explore the many ways these experiences can intersect.

Channa’s approach is integrative and rooted in a holistic mind-body framework. She prioritizes cultural responsiveness and welcomes each client’s unique intersectional identities and needs. Channa believes everyone deserves a space where every part of them can safely show up and be explored, no matter how heavy, concealed, or complex. She will be continuing her training in sex therapy and specialization in Oncosexology.
